7th Annual POWER Lights On!

Join the Delano Union School District, 7,500 communities, and 1 million Americans in celebrating afterschool programs at the 7th annual POWER UP! Lights On After School celebration! Our event will take place at Pioneer School on Thursday, October 25th from 4 pm to 7 pm!! This nationwide event calls attention to the importance of afterschool programs and the resources required to keep the lights on and the doors open. The Delano Union School District is proud to be a Lights On Afterschool National Partner. Student work in POWER will be on display, student performances will be showcased, and the after school opportunities available throughout our community will be promoted at this community event! Food will be provided, and fun games & activities will be available for all attendees, including a huge bounce house area for kids! Bring the whole family to Pioneer School from 4 pm – 7 pm on October 25th to celebrate Delano’s commitment to POWER UP! and keep the Lights On Afterschool! Too many children -- 15.1 million -- are missing out on afterschool opportunities. Participate in POWER UP! Lights On Afterschool and help call attention to this important issue.
